HOWARD B. RANDELL, Partner, is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.A.), and DePaul University College of Law (J.D.). Howard specializes in first and third-party liability coverage questions, including tenders of defense, duties to defend, cargo legal liability, jewelers block, hull coverage, difference in conditions policies and general property matters. He also focuses his practice on the defense and coverage of transportation and warehouse claims. He is a frequent lecturer to insurance companies and industry groups and has served as a panelist for the Property Loss Research Bureau. Howard co-authored the chapter entitled “Types of Coverage Available” Property Insurance, 1996, Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education and is an active participant in the Conference of Freight Counsel, Transportation Lawyers Association, Defense Research Institute and the Chicago Bar Association Insurance Law Committee. Howard is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Northern, Central and Southern Districts of Illinois, the Appellate Bars for United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth, Sixth and Seventh Circuits and the Supreme Court of the United States.
