MELISSA L. MCENDREE, a Shareholder with the Firm’s Worker’s Compensation Practice Group has over 20 years of litigation experience and has been in private practice since 2000, after serving as an Assistant State’s Attorney for LaSalle County, Illinois. Ms. McEndree’s practice is concentrated on defending businesses at arbitration, before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, Circuit and Appellate Courts. Her practice routinely includes the defense of matters in Chicago and downstate venues, including Geneva, New Lenox, Wheaton, Bloomington, Collinsville, Herrin, Waukegan and Kankakee.
Ms. McEndree frequently lectures to numerous insurance companies, employers and industry organizations and has authored and edited articles published by the Illinois State Bar Association in the Workers’ Compensation Newsletter. Ms. McEndree is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She is a graduate of Illinois Wesleyan University (B.A.), Illinois State University (M.S.) and The Thomas M. Cooley School of Law (J.D.), where she graduated cum laude and was an associate editor of the Law Review.
Ms. McEndree is a member of the Workers’ Compensation Lawyers’ Association and the Illinois State Bar Association.
