PATRICIA KLADIS-SCHIAPPA, a Senior Associate with the Firm’s Workers’ Compensation Practice Group and a seasoned litigator with more than 20 years of legal experience.  She concentrates in defending businesses at all levels before the Illinois Workers’ Compensation Commission, including appellate work at the Commission, Circuit, Appellate and Supreme Court levels.

In addition to her extensive workers’ compensation experience, Patricia served as a Hearing Officer for the Illinois Tollway Authority, where she conducted hearings for alleged violations of The Toll Highway Act.

She regularly judges The John Marshall Law School’s Herzog Competition: an intra-scholastic moot court competition where law students at her alma mater learn and develop their appellate advocacy skills. She is a mentor to young lawyers as she values helping the next generation.  She volunteers with her school communities and local town, including the Assistance League Foundation; a philanthropic program that supports neighbors in need throughout DuPage and western Cook counties.  

Patricia is a graduate of Loyola University Chicago (B.S.) and the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law (J.D.), where she was an Executive Board Member of The John Marshall Law School Moot Court Program.  She is licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois.  She is a member of the Hellenic Bar Association and is fluent in Greek.  Patricia also plays competitive tennis.
