SOO J. KIM, a Partner with the Firm’s Coverage Litigation Group, has 25 years of litigation and jury trial experience, having tried over 65 jury trials to verdict and litigated hundreds of arbitrations. Throughout her legal career, Soo has experience defending Fortune 500 corporations, professionals, nursing homes, businesses, and matters involving Section 155 (Bad Faith) claims, declaratory actions, automobile, premises liability, professional liability and uninsured/underinsured motorist claims. Her practice is concentrated on first and third party liability coverage and third party defense litigation. Soo’s passion and experience, coupled with an individual approach to each one of her cases, enables Soo to achieve successful outcomes for her clients.
Soo is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. She serves as an Arbitrator with the Cook County Mandatory Arbitration Program.
Soo is a graduate of Rutgers University (B.A.) and obtained her J.D. from Valparaiso University.
